Artist’s Statement: | People get stuck in society’s accepted norms and learn to live within a restricted image space. The cola bottle is the epitome of brand dominance that exudes a certain image, but which is the trappings of a consumer world. The consumer relies on the straw to breath air helplessly stuck inside a confined space of a cola bottle, not knowing that they don’t need it to survive.
